Música Ambiente - What a Wonderful World

"What a Wonderful World" escrita por Bob Thiele e George David Weiss, foi gravada pela primeira vez na voz de Louis Armstrong e lançada no início do Outono de 1967. A intenção era que a música servisse como um antídoto ao pesado clima racial e político nos Estados Unidos. Continuando a minha filosofia de vida optimista (tento fazer por isso…) a música ambiente desta semana continua a enveredar pelo caminho da esperança e das pequenas “Grandes” coisas boas da vida.
Esta canção, inicialmente, não obteve êxito nos Estados Unidos, onde vendeu menos de 1000 cópias, mas foi um dos maiores sucessos e campeão de vendas de 1968 no Reino Unido, tornando-se imortal na voz rouca e grave do considerado "a personificação do jazz” Louis Armstrong.
