As palavras faltam-me. Nunca chegam para descrever. Mas, sinceramente, não são necessárias a partir do momento em que ouves a voz de Jeff Buckley… quem conhece sabe disso. A combinação da sua incomparável voz harmoniosamente fundida com a guitarra forma, não música, mas sim arte. Foi difícil escolher apenas uma música do “pequeno” mundo de J.B., pelo que acabo por escolher a música com que conheci este grande músico que nos deixou tão cedo, “Hallelujah”… Apesar de ser uma cover (das mais fabulosas já feitas), cujo compositor original é Leonard Cohen, a música fala por si e Jeff Buckley faz da voz, coração.

Também é uma das minhas covers predilectas. Esta versão de Buckley é verdadeiramente divina.
É incrivel mesmo…perdemos um grande músico cedo de mais… (assim como muitos outros: Morrison, Kurt…). Se ainda não tiveste oportunidade de ouvir “Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk”, aconselho vivamente. Se é apenas um rascunho, nem imagino como seria o produto final... Invejo quem alguma vez teve oportunidade de o ver ao vivo.

Há muitos que partem antes do seu tempo e por coincidência (ou não) tenho andado numa maré de Buckley, Nick Drake e Elliot Smith, três excelentes compositores que já não estão entre nós.
Eu tenho o “Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk” e acho-o fantástico tem algumas das músicas mais bizarras de Buckley, sejam rascunhos ou não, é um álbum obrigatório para quem gosta :)

Já dizia o grande poeta "Primeiro estranha-se,depois entranha-se".
É sem dúvida das vozes mais tocantes e únicas :)
Não acredito muito em coincidências...Já que referiste dois compositores que não conheço muito bem,talvez seja oportunidade para o fazer.
